Dear KYP SDCs,

As per the guidelines received from the BSDM and the IT Department related to secure use of AEBAS system we are now allowing registered Biometric devices only.  In our ongoing efforts to enhance the verification process for biometric devices within the KYP program, we are implementing significant changes to ensure the security and efficiency of attendance tracking. Please take note of the following important updates:

  1. WORM Software and SOLAR Portal Integration:

To ensure the highest level of security and reliability, attendance will now be allowed exclusively on biometric devices that have been uploaded through WORM software on the SOLAR portal.

  • Removal of Previous Device Data:

We have recently removed all previously uploaded data associated with your devices from your SOLAR portal login. This is a necessary step to transition to the improved system.

  • Action Required:

We kindly request all stakeholders to upload their currently functional biometric devices on the SOLAR portal. This step is crucial to ensuring uninterrupted attendance marking for learners.

  • Mandatory Implementation of WORM Approved Devices:

Starting from Tuesday, October 31st, 2023, it will be mandatory to use WORM-approved biometric devices for attendance. After this date, non-compliant devices will no longer be supported.

Note: After device upload on SOLAR through WORM it will take 24 hours for automatic approval.

Bio-metric Device Upload – 2023 Process is available in your SOLAR login for upload devices through WORM, SDC can upload functional devices. In future if SDC wants to change the device due to any technical/physical damage of devices they can delete the device from SOLAR login from Network > Network Partner > Report > View and Delete Biometric Details” path and upload new device. Please note SDC are allowed to upload maximum two devices at a time, configuration may change as per BSDM instructions.
